Everyone loves iPhones and Android Phones. When it comes to iPhone people don’t have many options to choose from, for the first time Apple gave its customer 2 different models to choose from. Unlike Apple,Android offers a lot of options to its customers, there are size varaints, price variants and most important brand variants. The ongoing competition between Apple and Android has almost made Blackberry invisible from the market. Who uses Blackberry? May be some business people, but the majority stays away from Blackberry.
Some of the popular Blackberry smartphones are the Curve 8520, Curve 9320, Bold 9000, Bold 9800 and Blackberry Z10 and Q10. These smartphones were some of the most popular BB phones, but now no one wants to use them. Why no one wants to use BB phones? Its because of lack of applications.
If Blackberry wants to gain some of the pie in the market share it must work on the software part and improve the application support for the users. But currently the company is working on bringing in hardware upgrades. The company is working on a 64-Bit processor smartphone that will be capable of supporting 4GB of RAM, that’s going to be a huge upgrade in the hrdware.
The above rumored 64-Bit will have a maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz and will have the potential to support 4GB low power DDR3 RAM. It will also accommodate an Adreno 430 GPU, the chipset will be supplied byQualcomm. At this crucial stage where BB is losing its customer base due to tough competition from Android it should primarily focus on the software front. Bringing in support for more applications can actually help BB resurrect from dead.
