Nokia Lumia 520 Vs Nokia X: Similar UI and Price, Features vary

Nokia launched the Lumia 520 smartphone last year, this is an entry level Windows based smartphone. Nokia recently launched the Nokia X smartphone based on Android OS. Both these devices are the company’s entry level smartphones in their respective categories, the Nokia X and Lumia 520 give a tough competition to its rivals with its tough build and amazing price. Both the Lumia 520 and Nokia X are available for around Rs 7,500.

Let us compare both these smartphones to see which is the best buy for a buyer?

The Nokia X comes with a 4-inch WVGA display and is powered by a Dual-Core snapdragon processor. It has 512MB of RAM and comes with Windows Tile like User Interface. The Nokia X is pretty low on built-in storage but makes up for it with the option to expand memory upto 32GB. The device runs a forked version of Android OS known as Nokia X OS and has the ability to run any Android application. The device has pretty low resolution camera, 3MP rear camera and no flash.

On the other hand Lumia 520 is on a closed platform which limits the amount of app support it gets. This one also has a 4-inch WVGA display, a Dual-Core processor and 512MB RAM like the Nokia X. But this one is placed little above Nokia X with the 8GB built-in storage. The Lumia 520 comes with a 5MP rear camera and with the latest Lumia Black Update the camera on this device has got a little better.
