Apple iPhone 6 is the most anticipated smartphone of this year. Apple is said to bring about new features and design changes that will kill the Android phablets at once. After the iPhone 6 launch the only advantage Android will have over iPhone is its cheap price tag. iPhone 6 is rumored to come in 2 size variants, one with 4.8-inch display while the other one would feature a 5.7-inch display. It is also said that the company may give up the iPhone name and come up with something new for the larger Apple smartphones.
A new report suggests that Apple may be putting in new set of sensors apart from conventional set of sensors. The new sensors will be able to tell you the temperature, it will sense the amount of pressure on the phone (innovation to improve touch and haptic feedback) and a humidity sensor for whether analysis.
Apple last year launched the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c in multiple markets, iPhone 5s proved to be a good seller but iPhone 5c failed to make good sales. Apple also makes design changes and OS changes with the new product. Currently the trend set by Apple is that it keeps the same physical design for 2 models and changes it with the third one for example. iPhone 3G and iPhone 3Gs had the same design but iPhone 4 had a new design but again iPhone 4s came with the same design and iPhone 5 got the revamp followed by same design on iPhone 5s.
The upcoming iPhone 6 is likely to come with a very high pixel density on board, experts call it the Ultra Retina display, the pixel density on the Ultra Retina Display is going to be around 389 pixels per inch. The new iPhone will also have a very slim design measuring 5.59mm in thickness. The recently launched Gionee Elife S5.5 claimed to be world’s slimmest smartphone measures mere 5.5mm in thickness. The iPhone 6 will be 0.04 mm thicker than the Elife S5.5.
According to previous rumors the iPhone 6 will not have a higher resolution camera, instead the company will work on other technologies and features to improve the image quality. The one that is rumored right now is the Optical-Image-Stabilization.
We all expect more than a little too much from Apple. The company is certainly one of the best gadget makers on the planet, but this time I would rather request you take these rumors a little lightly as nothing is yet confirmed from Apple. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
